12/20/2015  Update from Pastor Search Team Chairman, Richard Walden

The Pastor Search Team is unanimous in its decision to recommend to Noonday Baptist Church the man we believe God is calling to pastor and lead this great church.  After interviewing this man via Skype, the Deacon Body is also unanimous in this recommendation.  On January 9, 2016 you will have the opportunity to meet our prospective pastor, along with his wife and family, for a question-and-answer period.  On January 10, 2016 he will be preaching in both services in view of a call.  After each service a recommendation will be made by the Pastor Search Team, the church will vote by secret ballot, and the votes will be counted.  Please be in prayer for this important time. May God bless you all.

12/13/2015  Update from Pastor Search Team Chairman, Richard Walden

An American minister and author by the name of Gardiner Spring (1785-1873) once wrote these words: "Though little seen and less appreciated, those who help bear the pastoral burden through prayer are surely the most important co-workers any spiritual leader could ever have. If God's people are going to expect powerful and successful sermons, their prayers must make him a blessing to the souls of men." Our next Pastor will need our prayers as much as we will need his.

12/6/2015  Update from Pastor Search Team Chairman, Richard Walden

The Pastor Search Team wishes to thank everyone who has lifted us up daily in prayer before the Lord. To know that you are continuing to pray, encourages us greatly. We know the process has been long and tedious, but we believe God will honor our faithfulness and our efforts. The Apostle Paul reminds us in his letter to the Galatians: "And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary." (Gal. 6:9)  God bless you all.
