Baseball Parents,

 

Thank you for registering your child(ren) for Noonday Baseball’s Spring 2023 season. We are looking forward to a great season of Baseball and we are honored that you have entrusted you children to us. 

Please read this entire email carefully as it has a lot of important information and will most likely answer many of your questions. Also, be on the lookout for other emails from Noonday Baseball. Email will be the primary communication avenue from the league to you during the season.

UNIFORM AND EQUIPMENT

Your child will be given a team jersey and hat on the day of the first game. They will BOTH need to be worn in every game. We suggest each player have grey baseball pants for games and practices. 

Closed toed tennis shoes are required for both practices and games. Non-metal cleats are optional for both the Machine Pitch and Kid Pitch divisions. Cleats ARE NOT ALLOWED in the Tee Ball division.

The only equipment you will need to provide is a glove. Bats and helmets (without face guards) will be available at practices and games. Players can bring their own helmets and bats if they like. However, NO big barrel bats are allowed in the league.

IMPORTANT DATES & INSTRUCTIONS

February 6 – Sometime during this week your child’s coach will contact you. The coach will share with you the team name and practice day/time for your child. If your coach has not contacted you by Thursday February 1st, please contact Noonday Baseball or call the church office at 770-926-6138. Please DO NOT call about teams or practice days prior to March 15.

March 14 – This will be our first week of practices. Please make every effort to have your child at the first week of practice as we only have three practices before their first game.

March 26 - Opening Day & Picture Day. Before your child’s first game that day they will be assigned a picture time. Coaches will share your specific time with you the week before.

May 14 – Kid Pitch Playoffs Begin

May 21 – Final Game Day. Kid Pitch Championship date.  Medals and trophies to be issued to teams.

If you do not have a church home we would love to have you and your family join us one Sunday morning. We have small group Bible studies for all ages, called LIFE Groups which start at 9:30 and a contemporary worship service that starts at 11:00am. Children’s Church programs are provided for children birth through 5th grade during the 11:00am service and on Wednesday nights.
