UPDATE: Thursday, September 24, 2020
Dear Noonday Family:
We certainly are enjoying a change in the weather with the promise of cooler days ahead as Fall moves in. Moving from one season to the next serves to give us hope that all things do change in time, and soon we will be through this season of COVID and the challenges we have faced over these last months. Change doesn’t always come all at once and Noonday has been very deliberate in moving forward with caution as we all return to on-campus worship. With the same amount of caution, we have set an expected date for returning to two Sunday morning services with all LIFE Group classes beginning on Sunday, November 1, 2020. Change is good!
Thank you to all who voted in new additional Deacons for the upcoming year. We will have a special Deacon Ordination service on Sunday, October 11th at 11:00am, immediately following our regular worship service. Childcare will continue through the end of the Ordination Service so that our Noonday members can take part in this important event. Make plans now to stay after the service that day so we can ordain our new Deacons as a church body.
I want to make the church aware of an important prayer need within our church. We have some urgent building repair needs on our campus that must be corrected. Please make our Noonday budget a matter of focused prayer from now through October 18th as we step out in faith to make these costly but much needed repairs. Thank you for your faithfulness.
RISE Women’s Ministry will meet this Sunday, September 27th at 3:00pm in the Student Center for fellowship and a message about Joy! All ladies are welcome.
Next week, September 28 – October 3 we will observe the Cobb County School District Fall Break Week and there will be NO WEEKLY ACTIVITIES. Enjoy a nice break with your families. All activities will resume the week of October 4th.
Men of Valor will meet Sunday, October 4th at 4:30pm for sub sandwiches and the Pine Wood Derby! Men bring your cars and be ready to face some stiff competition!
Let’s also remember to be in prayer for the upcoming Ladies Retreat October 8-10 to Shocco Springs in Alabama.

Cooler temperatures, changing leaves, Fall. Change is good. God is continually making all things new, including us. Every moment of every day brings a new beginning. The Lord provides hope in times of change and transition. Be encouraged that His steadfast love for us will never change.
“So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.”
2 Corinthians 4:16-18
I look forward to seeing each of you at church this Sunday!
Have a blessed week!
