Noonday Performing Arts Camp

June 23-30, 2019

Leadership Camp Application

Rising 9th through Rising 12th Graders

The High School Assistants play an integral role in the leadership and workforce of Noonday Performing Arts Camp (NPAC). High School Assistants will be mentored and "built into" by adult leaders, as well as serving in various ways in the camp. We hope and expect this camp to be very fulfilling and enjoyable for our High School Assistants. In order for this to take place and be successful, it is critical that you have a teachable attitude and a strong work ethic.

Your Commitment to the Camp:

Read through the "High School Assistant Handbook" before the H.S. pre-camp training, which you will receive when your Application is confirmed. (Don't worry, it's not very long!)

Attend pre-camp training on Sunday, June 2, 2-6pm. At this training session we will cover such items as:

  • getting to know one another

  • overview of camp

  • overview of the musical

  • small/large group teaching tools

  • "Rights, Wrongs, Reasons" prep (humorous "morality sketches")

  • other camp elements: music theory, Bible homework, drama/improv

Attend every day of camp per published schedule. Please note:

  • the daily schedule for H.S. Assistants is distinct from that of the younger divisions of the camp

  • both the Saturday "Showcase" and the Sunday "Main Show" with early arrivals (30 minutes before younger campers, unless special role calls for otherwise)

Make camp a personal priority for this week! Strive for excellence, be prepared, adhere to the guidelines, ask questions, pray, and have a GREAT camp!

  1. A brief letter of reference from a pastor is also required (turn in or email to Miss Krista separately)

  2. Registration fee of $15 will be solicited after acceptance is confirmed; the High School Assistant Handbook will be provided at this time.
