Please pray specifically today for these things:

  • The partnership between the Connection Churches and the Uruguayan Convention to bear much fruit through lives transformed into the image of Jesus.

  • The Sede will continue to grow and bring Glory to God as He transforms hearts and impacts that neighborhood.

  • That the Edney's will continue to adapt well and find their place of long term ministry in Rio Grande do Sul.

  • That Kiana will continue to impact University students that will make disciples who make disciples.

  • That our partnership with the Brazilian Home Mission Board will continue to grow and God will use these efforts to plant many, many new churches and make many, many multiplying disciples.

We have seen God move in incredible ways this year with the opening of a new church plant in the city of Porto Alegre. The Sede of Igreja Batista Passo D'Areia is strong and will be turned over to local national leadership at the end of this year.

God has also blessed our team with a new family that arrived to serve with us in June. They have settled in and began work north of the city beginning two small groups and a church plant in a city called Dois Irmaos.

We were able to visit Uruguay to scout a future partnership between Pr Andre and the Connection Churches in Guaiba and the Uruguayan Baptist Convention. This partnership is really exciting and promises to be a great encouragement to both groups.

Kiana (our team's Journey Girl) was able to extend her time to continue in Porto Alegre for an additional year.  Her ministry with University students has been difficult to establish, but God is honoring her faith, unending energy, and commitment to the task. She is leading a small group and making good connections with an on campus group called Pockets.
