Wow...just wow!
Sorry we haven't posted in a while! We just didn't have access to wifi and we've had some really loooooong days. I really don't even know if I can convey in words how God has been working here. We've fallen in love with the local people here that are reaching into their own communities with God's love. As we've partnered with them, we've been humbled by their love and work in the places where they live. God has really moved over the last couple of days. In a place w

Traffic and People
Sunday was such a specail day worshiping with our Brazilian brothers and sisters in Christ. Jay preached through a translator Sunday morning and Sunday evening and Jonathan led a few songs in English. It was a very special experience and God worked through both services. Please be praying for our team and the missionaries here. We are doing follow-up visits with the locals here that have just professed new faith in Christ or are interested in learning more about Jesus.

impressionante sábado!
Yes.....that's a rooster. The church had a chicken and rooster in a cage in the space where we ate. This is one of the kids that we had in our afternoon program. Today was an amazing day! This weekend there is a big festival celebrating the Gauchos (Brazilian equivalent to cowboys) history and culture. This is the people group that we are working with here in Brazil. The church plant we're partnering with used this opportunity to invite the neighborhood people to a special

We've Arrived
After several hours of travel, we've arrived in Porto Alegre! We're here safe and had a great night's sleep. Now we're in training with Joel and Tamera. Pray for our safety and for many opportinities as we share our faith. Tamera led us in a great devotional from Ephesians 6. "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil."

2015 Brazil Team
Be in prayer for our missionary team as we prepare to travel to Brazil this month. Porto Alegre is comparable in size to Atlanta but the entire state is less than 2% evangelized and darkly bound by the stronghold of spiritist movemnets, voodoo and satanic worship. Pray as we get last minute items together and work on our testimonies, lessons and messages. #mission #BrazilTeam
