Dr. Jay Worthington - Executive Pastor

Jay supervises all staff, oversees the administration of operations, leads adult education and facilitates all programs and activities for children from birth through 6th grade. He has been on staff at Noonday since 2008. Jay graduated from Auburn University in Alabama with a Bachelor's in Business Administration, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters in Christian Education, and from Southern Seminary with a Doctorate of Ministry in Church Growth and Evangelism. Jay and his wife, Frances, have two biological daughters, Anli and Virginia Grace, one adopted son, Khristopher, and serve as a foster family for additional children in north Georgia. When not serving at the church, Jay enjoys hanging out with his family, reading and playing ultimate frisbee.

Jeremy Burmmel

Jeremy Brummel - Student Pastor

Jeremy ministers to the 7-12 grade students as well as oversees the ministry to college students. Jeremy was called to Noonday in April 2012. He is married to Stephanie, his love and partner in ministry. Jeremy graduated with a degree in youth ministry from Bob Jones University in the fall of 2008. His favorite things to do are; reading, playing sports, watching sports and hanging out with his wife.

Jonathan Inabnit - Worship Pastor

Jonathan brings worship through music at Noonday every Sunday in the position of Worship Pastor.  He works with the Adult and Children's Choirs and Praise Team each week as well as brings special events throughout the year.  Jonathan was saved at the age of 5 in Montana and was baptized at the age of 11 while living in Alaska.  He was called to the ministry when he was 17 and was ordained in 2006.  Jonathan graduated from Moody Bible Institute in 2003 with a BA in Piano and Vocal Performance and a minor in Biblical Studies.

David Mahaffey - Senior Adult's Pastor

Brother David promotes training and growth in Senior Adult LIFE and Discipleship Groups, ministers to the homebound, and helps promote fellowship outings.  David graduated from Mississippi College before getting his ministry training at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Before coming to Noonday David pastored churches in Mississippi and Alabama.  He retired from full-time ministry in 2007 after 16 1/2 years as pastor of Union Baptist Church in Bessemer, Alabama.  David is married to Marilyn Cottingham Mahaffey going on 51 years. Marilyn retired in 2005 after 32 years with the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation in Alabama. They have three children and four grandchildren.
