Pre-Teen

The Edge is our newest ministry here at Noonday. In the summer of 2009 we began this new ministry specifically focused on the unique needs 5th and 6th graders. This group is often caught between two worlds; they are not quite teenagers, but definitely not children anymore.  So, we decided to create a ministry that could meet them where there are.

The Edge meets on Sunday mornings at 9:30am on our East Campus in Room 143 during LIFE Group time, and again on Wednesday nights from 6:30pm until 8:00pm in the Chapel on the West Campus.  

During both times this program seeks to give pre-teens some things from the children’s ministry and some things from the youth ministry.  In this way we hope to help maintain a certain comfort level with what they have been familiar with while preparing them for entry into the youth program.
